Getting to Jamaica is quite easy. We recommend landing in Montego Bay, the airport has just undergone extensive renovation and is much easier to travel through than Kingston. Below is a short list of the most common carriers and car rental agencies.

Blue Harbour is situated on the main highway of Jamaica in St. Mary's Parish on the north coast of the Island. Driving time from Montego Bay airport is approximately two hours. Blue Harbour can arrange chauffeured airport pickups. Rental car companies are also available at the airport or in Ocho Rios.

Don't like the drive? Air Jamaica Express can fly you into the Boscobel airport (only 10 minutes away)!

Chauffeured Pickups

We can hook you up with a good driver to fit any situation. Our drivers have been serving us for many years over the Jamaican roadway without incident.

Uton Hinds pet name 'Ernie' also well known as the 'Irie One'. The Jamaican definition of 'Irie' is a strong powerful positive feeling and also a greeting used instead of "good day".

Born in Oracabessa, St. Mary in 1958 when Ian Fleming was writing his James Bond 007 novels two miles away at his estate 'Goldeneye' (now known as 'James Bond Beach').

After attending primary and secondary schools in St. Mary parish he began his career in tourism in 1973 as a water sports instructor at 'Golden Seas Hotel' in his own home town.  He specialized in SCUBA diving, skin diving and wind surfing.  A few years later he moved on to the more elegant and legendary 'Sans Souci Resort' in Ocho Rios where he furthered his career in water sports and tourism.

It was during his time at the 'Sans Souci' that he learned to be a driver and tour guide.  At the age of 27 he went out on his own and talked the bank into a loan for his first vehicle.  His vehicles have always been called 'The Irie One' as his driving 'handle'.  He has had years of experience driving guests around every part of Jamaica.  Never a problem.  Never an accident.  He has a reputation as one of the safest and smoothest drivers on the island.

Ernie is truly 'The Irie One', whether eco-tours of the Blue Mountains or Jamaica night life he can take you there and get you back 'No Problem'.  He always wears his cellular phone on his side and can be reached any time of the day or night.

Trevor Condappa, of Trev Tours is a former agricultural extension officer who can take you on a knowledgeable tour of the islands flora and fauna. He was born and raised driving in Jamaica and knows every nook and cranny. He as been driving successfully for the last fifteen years and knows just about everybody and every clean rest room on the island. For the last twelve years he has owned and operated his own tour operation Trev Tours.

Trevor operates several vans with the help of relatives he hires during the busy months. The vans are all as good as new. The smaller vans accommodate approximately 9-10 with baggage and the larger busses about 20 with luggage. Trevor never hesitates to take his vehicles in for regularly scheduled maintenance.

Whether you need transportation to/from the airport or a in-depth tour of the country look no further then here. You can trust them both to look out for your best interests.

Dougie Sortie is a local, born and raised in the area with lots of driving experience and a great personality. He is safe. punctual, trustworthy and a pleasure to ride with. His new Toyota van provides ideal and comfortable transportation to and from the airport and on island wide excursions.  The 9-passenger van is good for 8 people with luggage.  We can reserve Dougie for you or you can contact  him directly.

For groups larger than 8 we recommend using both the van and a sedan or Trevor Condappa's large luxury style coaster bus that holds up to 20 people.

Just e-mail or telephone us your name of airline, flight # and time of arrival and we will have a driver, vehicle and cold drinks waiting for you as you exit customs at the airport.
